What’s New: Fall Casual Wear from Zanerobe

Comments (4) New Arrivals

Check sportcoat $239.

As for casual wear, Australian brand Zanerobe is our most popular line. This fall is no different, with effortless casual style that doesn’t involve hoodies or t-shirts. They’ve been consistent at taking basic casual pieces and adding just the right amount of updated details to give guys a more personal look with minimal effort.

Casual navy blazer $239, distressed denim shirt $130, embroidered denim shirt $139.

Denim shirts have been a growing trend for a couple seasons, and now we have Zanerobe to add details like distressing, thicker denim, and embroidery – for the guys who won’t settle for a plain denim or chambray shirt.

Last spring we had a few pairs of drop crotch pants from Zanerobe, and this season they’ve brought back a chino pair in a perfect neutral colour for fall. Instead of sticking to jeans for your casual days, an equally comfortable pair of chinos (like these) will bring your look to a more modern and trendy level.

Chino $129.

Ombre cord shirt $139, plaid flannel shirt $130.

By now, most guys (especially younger guys) have at least two plaid shirts. They’re warm, trendy, manly, and easy to wear. One of our newest favourites amongst the staff is this plaid corduroy shirt. Is there anything more fall-appropriate besides pumpkin pie?

Cable knit cardigan $159, Shawl collar fleece cardigan $149, striped shawl sweater $149.

Zanerobe has a versatile selection of cardigans, perfect for guys who spend their weekdays in more casual clothes. Dress them up, dress them down, they still look cozy and sharp.

Raglan sweater $119.

Let’s face it, not many of us dress up to run errands or go to the grocery store. But leave the college hoodies and sweatpants at home. Opt for jeans and a cleaner looking sweater like this orange and blue raglan sweater. The colours are just right for fall, and it’s got a retro feel.

Leather jacket $400, camo jacket $199.

Every guy needs to have a leather jacket. They go great with jeans, or anything casual, plus they’re incredibly warm and very sharp looking. When you’re looking for an alternative, heavy camo cotton it is.

I live in Aus and Zanerobe is not considered by stylish men to be a cool brand. I mean, look at that jacket in the main pic! It’s all out of balance. The waist of the jacket is way too high and the length is way too short! I know the trend is for short jackets but it’s a bad trend. Styled with an untucked denim shirt does not improve matters. All up, the model looks like an unmade bed.

Hey Gazman, Zanerobe has been selling very well both in our store and in Toronto in general. While we are a small independent retail store in Toronto, we do the best we can in posting photos of our clothes to our customers with the resources given, but we’re striving to take it to the next level so thanks for the feedback. Are there other brands in Australia that you’d recommend?

Try Saba, Country Road and Jack London. The problem with Aus fashion labels is that many are here today gone tomorrow. Those three have at least stuck around for a few years. Country Road has been around for decades. They also cost too much especially compared to fast fashion labels such as Zara, H&M and ASOS.

Looking at it again, I can’t get over just how awful that Zanerobe jacket looks. Sorry. Just about everything about it is wrong! Plus, I reckon it is one size too small for the model. Look at the pull in the torso. And why would you style it with an undershirt showing above the shirt line? The crotch of the pants is also too low.
