It’s been an amazing 2013 here at Gotstyle and none of it would have been possible without your incredible support over the years. From store launches, to epic parties, it’s hard to imagine that we were able to squeeze so much into one year. We hope you’ve enjoyed the journey thus far and invite you join us for another exciting year.
We can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together in 2014!
We kicked off the year with the launch of two new stores, our 7,000 sq ft location in the historic Distillery District and our brand new e-commerce site. If that wasn’t enough, we also introduced Gotstyle Woman (exclusively at our Distillery District location), our first ever foray into womenswear. And as proverbial cherry on top, we also introduced Gotstyle Loyalty, an app based loyalty program to reward our loyal customers with points for cash and exclusive deals and invites.
So what’s next on the horizon? Only Melissa knows the answer to this, so stay tuned because it’s going to be an exciting 2014.
Gotstyle Gives Back! We were hard at work this year aligning ourselves with important charities helping the community in Canada and abroad, raising thousands of dollars for great charities including Movemeber, Right To Play, Ronald Macdonald House and Canfund.
Our biggest charity project this year is Lupul Style. We teamed up with Toronto Maple Leaf Joffrey Lupul to raise money for True Patriot Love, a charity that is dedicated to helping Canadian military families in need. So far we have raised over $10k and the campaign will continue into 2014. Click here to learn how you can get involved.
This year Gotstyle went national with fashion segments on Canada AM and The Marilyn Dennis Show that reached millions of homes across Canada. Melissa has made her mark as Toronto’s menswear expert appearing on Breakfast Television and writing fashion columns for Chill magazine and The Bay St. Bull.
In addition, Gotstyle was featured in virtually every single major Canadian Magazine and newspaper this year including Canadian Business, Sharp, Toronto Life, Flare, Fashion, Made, Lou Lou, Lush, Chloe, Now, The Grid, Toronto Star and The Globe & Mail.
With the launch of our e-commerce site, 2013 really brought about a change in the way we presented our brand to the public. We’ve always believed in giving men the tools and resources to dress better and we can truly say that our editorial content this year embodied that mandate. We really stepped out of our shell this year and went on to produce some exciting style stories that we hope you enjoyed.
Not only are we helping the men in Toronto dress better, we are helping them get hitched. With our Gotstyle Grooms program we’ve got men covered head to toe for their big day. Starting with their suits, down to their suspenders & socks. We have dressed dozens of grooms this year and we’re happy to say that many of them have been also been featured in various bridal magazines like Wedluxe, Canadian Bride, Style Me Pretty and Wedding Obsession.
